Growing out healthy long curls
It's been a while since I've done any kind of hair update and it's a little shameful to have to send so many people back to my really old videos so I am going to remake a lot of them with all my new routines!
The first one up, My current hair products that have helped me grow out my hair super long and healthy!
The first thing you need to do is invest in an Organic shampoo and conditioner!
You'll notice a few things to get used to, for example the textures.. Organic shampoos tend to lather less because they don't contain the cheap foaming agent known as SLS like the drugstore products do, and the organic conditioners will be a lot more rich and concentrated. (and feel like it's actually doing something for your hair rather than strip it bare)
I came across the Palmers coconut oil range previously when searching for a deep conditioning treatment for my hair, which you can see in my reviews section of the blog.
I loved the after affects of that treatment and then began to use their shampoo and conditioner range.
I LOVE the smell ( I get alot of compliments on this too!) and it has worked really well with my curls, keeping them strong and shiny!
Once you have a great organic shampoo and conditioner down you want to look at protecting the hair for when you get out of the shower, seeing as we are curly girls you will need something that will provide alot of moisture to protect the coils and something that doesn't contain harmful unnecessary chemicals that will dry out your ends so you end up looking like a frizz ball for the rest of the day!
I have fallen in love with yet another of the palmers coconut oil formula because it does what it says its going to do!
Bare in mind my particular hair is not so coarse so I look for products that arent goin to weigh my hair down or cause product build up, so have a search around and don't be afraid to try out different leave in condtioners, believe me I have but I am so grateful I did because I've gotten to know my hair!
You could also look at sealing your ends, this will help when trying to retain length because you are actively coating the ends of your hair to protect them and add some extra strength by moisturising. This is a case of wetting the ends of the hair and finding a very heavy oil or moisturiser to coat the ends of the hair.
Again I don't personally use this method as it's not suited to my more fine hair..I will use a home made protein treatment or the Palmers coconut oil protein pack if i feel my ends need some TLC.. You can find my homemade hair mask here:

The last thing that has really helped when it comes to encouraging healthy hair growth is a product I came across by Vitagoods,
This is a great product to use for those like me who don't have anyone to force to massage their hair!
It's waterproof so you can use the massager while shampooing it helps with dandruff and product build up!
It helps promote a healthy scalp and stimulates the blood circulation which will make your hair grow healthier!
You can use my code JEEMUN to get a 70% discount on the scalp massager!!

It's helped me alot it's battery operated so it vibrates on the scalp it's so relaxing!
These are the key points to what has helped me grow out my curls nice and healthy and long!
I'm pretty happy with this routine seems to be working well, I've recently begun wrapping my hair too which has been helping with retaining my length, so that may be something to blog about soon too!
Until then
Let me know if you have any questions I'll be happy to help!
