CONS Project: Peckham

Well elo elo

It's been a little while! Let's have a little catch up..
Ham invited me to check out another awesome event, So we met up and headed down to CONS Project!
Check out the pictures below..

Ok so just to give you some background to this little warehouse event.

"The Cons Project London comprises the UK’s most talented art practitioners and is open to anyone who’d like to exchange ideas and see inspiring art."
"With mural paints by Kyle Platts, Sam Taylor, Thomas Slater and Charlotte Mei as well as tunes from amazing artists and producers who are going to perform at the opening party, this event is undoubtedly something you need to keep an eye on." I missed out on a few images due to my shortness and the crowd  and the time I reached there -_-" so I found a few images for what I missed credit goes to footpatrol. [Photo of main entrance above]

When first entering you were greeted by old school 90's mixes, and a warm and buzzing crowd outside where people were socialising and queuing for the food! [Photo of the chefs]

There was a room covered in Candid shots, images of people "spitting bars" which gave a really nostalgic feel, immediately reminded me of house parties when I was younger, and everyone would drop there '16 bars' on different backing tracks, a lot of well known artists started in Peckham.

There were images you would see and probably still do see of everyone chilling around their neighborhoods, and that's how I grew up, we were like a community. It brought me to recognise how many talented people reside in Peckham, Unfortunately due to statistics Peckham isn't exactly known for that, projects like these raise awareness and inspire me as an artist myself, also growing up in and around Peckham. It is a diverse and colourful area which greatly reflects on it's people, I felt an immediate connection to this event, and happy they chose this area to host it.

The atmosphere was so chill

There was an array of fashion and of course exclusive sneakers
There was also a room with a photobooth in there, as soon as I find the picture we took in there I'll upload it! I LOVE a good photobooth pic :) even though Ham ruined it with his unreadyness, but non the less we all know I love to live in the moment I capture E V E R Y T H I N G. You have to anyway, you can't relive the memories.

The security guard and I in the queue for the photobooth :D

I wore a white bodysuit from Missguided, White Joni Topshop jeans, and Topshop slide slippers.
That's right the camera round my neck means I was shooting away! Here's the link: http://youtu.be/EF2DPE6WrQE

I have a few snaps I took of the DJ on snapchat, I'm kinda frustrated I can't share it with you guys so if you want to see some snaps in the future you can add me on jeemun1991!

Love you all! Got so many tutorials and vlogs coming for you soon! remember to leave me any requests and thank you for all the ones I have already xxxx
CONS Project London will be taking over space in South East London’s Peckham to offer up a Mixlab series, designed to develop and enhance budding music production skills in our up and coming DJs/producers, then a series of raves, screenings, talks and exhibitions which journeys through the history of London’s underground music scene - See more at: http://londontheinside.com/2014/05/15/converse-launch-cons-project/#sthash.GG0bivma.dpuf
