Yo!
So I have driven past Sushi Samba a million times and always find myself taking a second to admire the height of this building, wondering what is up there and if I will ever get a chance to venture into the building.Well after a year of admiration I finally got the chance to dine in the restaurant up there on the top floor. Their USP would be the slogan "Only at SUSHISAMBA will you find a unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine, music and design" And they mean that in no exaggeration either.
So I took a taxi down there and met up with a friend during their lunch break, as soon as you get there you are greeted by a well dressed individual and shown to the ever so famous glass elevator where once you start moving you can see a huge landscape of London city. As it climbs even higher your ears pop.. -_- a feeling I hate with a passion, but it's ok it isn't extreme I'm just being a girl lol..
Anyway you walk out and make your way through to the prestigious restaurant, there is a part outside which even has it's own tree it really is quite breathtaking to see, I sat down in the actual restaurant part which was framed by glass, so while enjoying the food you are blessed with an amazing 360 view around you.
To be honest I couldn't tell you what we ended up ordering it all happened so fast! But I will say, my taste buds were in HEAVEN, there is a set way to order, you would order two from one section, 3 from another and then 1 from another set section, very hard to explain that side to it you would need to experience first hand. The menu was truly something else, just reading the ingredients alone for certain dishes was extraordinary lol. I decided to try near enough everything I didn't play it safe I really wanted to try all the recommendations. This was fine dining lets not forget, So I made sure I took my palette into curious zones.
Even the drinks, I started off with my waiters recommendations based on what we like,
All I can say was it had lychee in it (my favorite) and either rum or vodka lol very sweet though, and I can't remember what my friend got I'm not doing too well here am I guys.. but it had sugar cane and I think pineapple..
And now the food! Here is what ended up coming, No I cannot remember the complex names for the dishes but they were absolutely amazing
